Actor Sushant Singh's sister diagnosed with neurological disorder

Mumbai, Sept 9 (IBNS): Actor Sushant Singh recently urged people to help him with leads so that he could reach out to the "right people" as his sister Sofiya is suffering from a neurological disorder.  

The actor tweeted: "This is an appeal friends. My younger Sister Sofiya has been diagnosed with CIDP. An auto-immune disorder, the only treatment of Steroids and Immuno-suppressants isn’t working. Trying to find any new breakthrough, please RT and help us reach out to the right people."

 


The actor also shared an image of himself with his sister on the unverified Twitter account on Sept 7.

Sushant Singh has gained popularity in recent times as the anchor of TV show Savdhaan India.

He made his film debut in 1998 with Ram Gopal Varma's Satya.

He rose to stardom with the 2000 film Jungle, and received rave reviews for portraying slain bandit, Durga Narayan Chaudhary.

He then went on to star in period dramas such as Ambedkar and The Legend of Bhagat Singh, and established himself in Bollywood.
