Actor Tunisha Sharma commits suicide on sets of TV show: Report

Mumbai/IBNS: TV actor Tunisha Sharma allegedly committed suicide on Saturday on the sets of her show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, media reports said.

India Today reported that the 20-year-old actor locked herself up in the makeup room of her co-actor in the show, Sheezan Mohammed Khan, while he was away for his shot. After returning, when he couldn’t open the door and Tunisha did not respond despite repeated calls, the door was broken.

Tunisha was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.

Tunisha would have turned 21 on January 24.

The young actor was a popular face on television. She started her journey as a child actor and shared the screen with stars like Katrina Kaif and Vidya Balan.

In her debut role, she played the younger Katrina Kaif in Fitoor and later in Baar Baar Dekho, too, she portrayed the younger Katrina Kaif.

In Kahaani 2, she featured with Vidya Balan

She was part of television shows like Internet Wala Love, Ishq Subhallah, Gayab, and Sher-E-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
