
Bengali filmmaker Raj Chakrabarty, wife Subhashree test COVID-19 positive
Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali filmmaker and MLA Raj Chakrabarty on Tuesday said he and his wife, actress Subhashree Ganguly, have tested positive for COVID-19 and are in home quarantine.
The couple is currently in home quarantine.
"Subhashree and I have been tested positive for COVID-19. We are practicing home quarantine. Please stay safe, wear a mask and follow the COVID precautionary guidelines," Chakraborty wrote in a tweet.

This is the second time Chakraborty has tested positive for COVID-19.
Chakrabarty is one of the most successful commercial filmmakers in the West Bengal film industry.
The couple welcomed their first child in Sept 2020.
He has directed several popular Bengali movies like Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, Le Chakka, Challenge, Dui Prithibi and Parineeta featuring his wife Subhashree.
