Mumbai, Apr 6 (IBNS): S S Rajamouli's magnum opus, Baahubali: The Beginning, will be re-released this Friday, ahead of the theatrical released of the second installment in the series.

Reacting to the news, film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Great to see #Baahubali being re-released in theatres this Friday... To revisit and relive a classic on the big screen has its charm..."

"Re-releasing a Hit/Blockbuster movie in theatres was a commonality in the 1970s, 1980s, till 1990s, but the trend faded over the years...," an ensuing tweet read.

Adarsh also stated the move as bold and said that it could help other movies too, if proven successful.

"A super strategy to re-release #Baahubali before its second edition arrives... Will open the doors for other successful films if it works," his tweet read.

Baahubali stars Prabhas as titular character, with support from Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj.

The film was declared a blockbuster upon its theatrical run at the box office.
