Paris/IBNS: In a star-studded finish to the grand Olympics closing ceremony, global star Tom Cruise brought Hollywood to Paris as he made his entry in a "Mission: Impossible" styled stunt.

Cruise effortlessly descended from the top of the Stade de France to join the athletes who competed in the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad during Sunday's 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony.

As he walked through a sea of competitors waving and shaking hands with most of them, Simone Biles and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass handed him the Olympics flag to take it to the United States, as a gesture to signify the hand-off from Paris to the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

"Thank you, Paris! Now off to LA," Cruise shared on X.

Meanwhile, in a pre-recorded clip, Cruise rode through town and onto a plane before he made his way to the top of the Hollywood sign in LA, which was now configured to show the Olympic rings.

Cruise, known for performing his own death-defying stunts, filmed some parts of the bike ride in March.

The video then showed him arriving in the United States, where he landed straight on the iconic  Hollywood hill at Los Angeles, the next host city for Olympic Games 2028.
