India celebrates Rakhi, Bollywood celebrities wish fans

Mumbai, Aug 26 (IBNS): As India celebrated Rakhi on Sunday, celebrities also shared their lovely memories with siblings on the special day of festivity with their fans on social media.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: "Rakshabandhan greetings .. रक्षाबंधन की अनेक अनेक शुभकामनाएँ , स्नेह आदर और सुख शांति ."

Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, who recently got engaged to American singer Nick Jonas, also took the oppurtunity in posting a picture with her brother Siddharth as she tweeted: "I've got an army of brothers, and this one (@Iamsidchopra) happens to be the leader of the pack (by default) :p #HappyRakshaBandhan! It's one of my favorite festivals where the sister ties a sacred thread around the brother's wrist for protection."

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari tweeted: "From being my props in pictures to always having my back... Thank you broskis! #HappyRakshaBandhan P.S. I will continue to bully you for as long as I live!."

Actress Sonam posted: "To my brothers a very very happy Rakhee... I’m so thankful to have all of you in my life.. love you all a lot!
