Mumbai, June 13 (IBNS): Actor Anupam Kher on Wednesday appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called him a 'rockstar' after he posted a fitness video on social media.

Modi on Wednesday shared his fitness video on social media.

Appreciating the move, Kher tweeted: " Prime Minister @narendramodi ! You are a #RockStar. What an amazingly inspirational morning exercise video. Thank you for sharing it. Jai Ho.."

Accepting Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli's fitness challenge, Modi on Wednesday morning shared a video where he could be seen training hard.

Modi could be seen doing yoga and also walking on tracks.

Tweeting the video, the PM said: "Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit"

The Fit India Movement was launched by Modi in March and he also spoke about it in Mann Ki Baat radio talk show in April.
