The trailer begins with a search for a 10 year old girl called Kali, who has been kidnapped.

Rahul Bhat and Tejaswini Kolhapure play Kali’s parents look brilliant as the harrowed parents of the missing girl, even as the trailer makes you wonder uneasily if they are hiding some dark secrets of their own.

Leading the search operation is Additional Commissioner of Police and Kali’s step-father- Shoumik Bose played by Ronit Roy, a ruthless but dedicated cop on a mission.

Director Anurag Kashyap definitely leaves the audience asking for more with its pulsating soundtrack (by GV Prakash), exceptional performances and a devastating, heart-rending tale. The film promises to take you on a gripping, sensational journey as the Ugly truth reveals itself.

‘Ugly’ stars Ronit Roy, Tejasvini Kolhapure, Rahul Bhat, Vineet Singh, Girish Kulkarni, Siddhanth Kapoor & Surveen Chawla.

The movie has been produced by Phantom Films and Dar Motion Pictures Ltd.

The film has created a furore at various International film festivals and is slated to release on Dec 26.
