Southern superstar Rajinikanth turns 67, celebrities wish him

Chennai, Dec 12 (IBNS): Southern superstar Rajinikanth turned 67 on Tuesday as celebrities from different film industries, including Bollywood, wished him on the special day of the year.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has worked with Rajinikanth in several Bollywood movies, tweeted: "T 2739 - To my dear friend, colleague and a most humble and large hearted Colossus !! Birthday greetings .. वर्ष नव, हर्ष नव , जीवन उत्कर्ष नव !!."

Another Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar said: "Have always been in awe of your onscreen persona but working with you made me a bigger fan of you offscreen. They don't call you Superstar just like that :) Keep shining the brightest @superstarrajini Sir #HappyBirthdaySuperStarRajinikanth."

Both have worked in upcoming sci-fi movie 2.0.

Filmmaker Karan Johar said: "Happy birthday to the mega super star @superstarrajini ....the aura , the magic , the connect and the humility is legendary....happy birthday Sir!."

Actress Huma Qureshi wished him and tweeted: "Happy Thalaiva Day !! So blessed to be working with the one and only #Rajni Sir."

Southern actor Tamannaah Bhatia posted: "Happy birthday, @superstarrajini sir! Wish you the best of everything in the year ahead."
