Deepika Padukone feels honoured to be part of Academy

Los Angeles, July 19 (IBNS): Indian actress Deepika Padukone has expressed her happiness for being a part of Academy of Motion Picture of Arts & Sciences for its "Class of 2017".

She said she felt honoured to be a part of the member.

"HONORED TO BE A NEW #ACADEMYMEMBER. @THEACADEMY #CLASSOF2017," she tweeted.

Deepika made her Hollywood debut with "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" this year.

The  Academy earlier invited several people to its governing body recently.
