Celebrities observe Father's Day, share images with daddy

Mumbai,m June 18 (IBNS): Revisiting their childhood days, Indian celebrities on Sunday wished their father on 'Father's Day'.

Sharing his childhood photograph with father, Sarod maestro Amjad Ali Khan tweeted: "He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it. – Clarence Budington Kelland #celebratingfathersday #fathersday."

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma said: "The world would be even more wonderful if there were more men like you papa! Thank you for your strength & kindness in my life #FathersDay."

Actress Athiya Shetty said: "#Happyfathersday to my biggest strength n greatest weakness. I love u even when I don't express it enough.Thank u for encouraging my madness."

Athiya is the daughter of 90s action star Sunil Shetty.

Actress Sonali Bendre also joined the league in celebrating the day as he shared on Twitter an image of her husband and son and wrote: "It's a special feeling watching your husband evolve as a father... #HappyFathersDay ."

Filmmaker Karan Johar said: "A father is just a mother in denial....he too wants to nurture..to hug..to hold..he was taught not to...let's change that..#HappyFathersDay."

Sarod player and son of Amjad Ali Khan, Ayaan Ali Bangash posted: "The quality of a father can be seen in the goals, dreams and aspirations he sets not only for himself, but for his family #HappyFathersDay."

His brother Amaan Ali Bangash‏ said: "It is not flesh and blood but the heart which makes us fathers and sons. – Johann Schiller #FathersDay."

Both the brothers shared an image with their father each on their Twitter pages.

Actor Emraan Hashmi shared an image with his son and celebrated fatherhood by posting:"Some superheros don't wear capes. Proud to be this one's father . Happy fathers day !!"

Actress Genelia Deshmukh tweeted: "My Father believes in me and that's the greatest gift for any child.. I know no matter how tough… https://www.instagram.com/p/BVecTtOgS4F/ ."

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also remembered his daddy as he wished him: "अब सब कह ही रहे हैं, तो चलिए, हम भी कहे देते हैं Happy Father's Day !."

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari tweeted: "Happy Father's Day baba... I know you can hear me ...#innocence #pure #love #Fathersday."

Actress Shilpa Shetty wished: "My Daddy my first HERO..Happy Father's Day We love you and miss you terribly #memories #bondsforever #myhero #HappyFathersDay."

Actor Boman Irani said: "Wished my Mother a Happy #FathersDay .
A grand lady, who played both roles with equal measure......to this very day."

Paying homage to daddy, the world is celebrating Father's Day on Sunday.
