SRK welcomes Sunny Deol's son Karan to Bollywood

Mumbai, May 22 (IBNS): As actor Sunny Deol announced his son's debut film on Monday, superstar Shah Rukh Khan welcomed the new gen actor Karan to the Bollywood industry.

SRK tweeted: "All the best papa. He looks as tough and gentle as you. May all good things come his way."

Following his father and grandfather's footsteps, Karan Deol is set to enter the movie business and ply his trade in Bollyland.

Karan is none other than the grandson of legendary actor Dharmendra and son of Bollywood strongman Sunny Deol.

He will be launched by his father Sunny in the upcoming movie Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

Gushing about his 'grown-up son', the proud father tweeted that he has already started the principal photography.

"Started #palpaldilkepaas .. Karan's first day at shoot.. can't get enough.. my boy has grown big #love #actor #life," Sunny's tweet read.

The movie is directed by Sunny himself and will be shot extensively in Manali.

Speaking about launching his son, the actor known for his famous 'Dhai Kilo Ka Haath' dialogue, said in a statement, "My father launched me and now I am launching my son. Karan is extremely passionate about his acting career and I am sure he will do everyone proud."

Following his debut, Karan will join a list of selected actors, Rishi Kapoor, Kajol among others, who too are part of the third generation actors' list .
