New Delhi, Oct 20 (IBNS) : Film director Karan Johar on Thursday will meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to seek security for the release of his upcoming film 'Ae Dil hai Mushkil', which faces the wrath of certain sections for featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.

According to reports, Johar will be accompanied by producer Mukesh Bhatt and Siddharth Roy Kapoor.

The movie,  set to release on October 28, faces threat from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), which has been demanding a ban on it in the backdrop of attacks by Pakistani terrorists in India.

The film stars  Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, among others.

Johar earlier on Tuesday expressed a "deep sense of hurt and pain" by the charge of being anti-national.
