New song from 'Amit Sahni Ki List' released

Mumbai, July 10 (IBNS): 'Pyaar Hai Kutti Cheez', a fast paced musical number from Vir Das starrer film 'Amit Sahni Ki List' has been released.
This edgy sound track marks the singing debut of Vir Das in Bollywood.
 
Lyrics like “Bhagwan mere zindagi mein pyaar mat laana please” describe perfectly the frustration the lead character,Amit Sahni, played by Vir Das.
 
The song is a perfect illustration of the angst felt by a man wounded in love.
 
Hailed as the anti - love song of the year, this energetic video features Vir Das jamming with abandon, accompanied by his chuddy-buddy and very cool mom.
 
 Interestingly, he has also penned the lyrics for the song. The music is composed by Warren Mendonsa and Sidd Coutto. 
 
‘Amit Sahni Ki List’, is about Amit, a young and successful investment banker and his search for the woman from his dreams, correction the woman from his list. 
 
Every time he goes out on a date, he secretly checks if his date matches with the list. Several encounters follow but in vain. Heartbroken, Amit is convinced that the woman from his List does not exist. But the very next day Amit meets a woman who causes his list philosophy to come under serious scanner. 
 
Directed by Ajay Bhuyan, ‘Amit Sahni ki list’ stars actors Vir Das, Vega Tamotia, Anindita Nayar, Kavi Shastri and Natasha Rastogi. 
 
Produced by Tina Nagpaul, Kavita Kulkarni and Sujata Vemuri, the film is slated for release on July 18.
