Film critic Taran Adarsh wrote on X: "#Tumbbad continues to surprise, numbers jump on Day 2... In recent times, the biz of repeat-runs has been an eye-opener, but the response that #Tumbbad is generating surpasses them all."

"More importantly, the lack of fresh content has been a key talking point in the exhibition sector... When repeat-runs succeed in drawing audiences, it offers considerable relief to exhibitors," he said. "[Week 1; re-release] Fri 1.65 cr, Sat 2.65 cr. Total: ₹ 4.30 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice, " Adarsh posted on X.
