Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone was on Tuesday shot with Badminton player Lakshya Sen outside a restaurant in Mumbai.

Deepika, who is expecting her first child, stepped down to dine with Lakshya and Ranveer Singh's family.

As they walked out of the restaurant, the paparazzi clicked them.

Deepika, who was wearing a black outfit, hugged Lakshya as she left.

Lakshya Sen had a dream run at the Paris Olympics where he reached the semi-final but lost to Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia.

Deepika's father Prakash Padukone, who was an ace badminton player, coached Lakshya.

Also a former badminton player, Deepika is expected to become a mother in September 2024.
