Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is aiming to finish his comeback year on a high note with 'Dunki', where he collaborated with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani for the first time.

Weeks ahead of the release, Shah Rukh reposted a number of X posts from his fans with quotes.

The actor reposted a video where a child was seen dancing to the film's popular track 'Lutt Putt Gaya'.

In a quote, Shah Rukh says, "He is so sweet!! Please take him when u go for the film… #Dunki is saaf suthra (neat and clean) entertainment and emotion that can be enjoyed and felt by youngsters and elders alike… lots of love!!!"

'Dunki' teaser, which has ample humour, gives a glimpse of a few common people's "dreams and desires".

Along with Shah Rukh, the film features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar and Boman Irani in the lead.

The film, which is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, will release in theatres on December 22 on the occasion of Christmas.

Shah Rukh, who suffered a jolt in 2018 following a dull run of his film 'Zero' in the box office, took a break from acting and made his fans wait for four years.

The actor stormed back to films with action film 'Pathaan' in January 2023 and doubled his success with 'Jawan' which released in September of the same year.
