Mumbai: Karisma Kapoor caught the attention of her followers as she posted a supercute image on Instagram where she is seen hugging football legend David Beckham at a party hosted by actor Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja.

UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador David Beckham travelled to India this week to meet children and adolescents, including girls who are bringing about change and innovation in their communities, and young women who have overcome barriers to help close gender gaps.

The party, organised to welcome David Beckham to India, had several Bollywood A-listers in attendance apart from Karisma Kapoor, including Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora.

Post the party, Karisma shared inside pictures from the bash on Instagram.

While Karisma is seen posing with David Beckham in the first picture, she is seen hugging him in the second.

Karisma, who is the mother of a daughter named Samaira Kapoor and a son named Kiaan Raj Kapoor, captioned the lovely post with, "Did it for the kids."

“So warm and gracious,” she wrote, praising Beckham, who can be seen smiling in the picture as Karisma holds him.  She also added the hashtag #ForeverFan, emphasising that it was a fangirl moment for her, too.

Commenting on her post, Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Lolo (Karisma Kapoor's nickname) the legend,” along with laughing emojis.

The party host, Sonam Kapoor, wrote, “Love you” with a heart emoji.
