Zoya Akhtar turns into an ardent football fan

Mumbai, May 25 (IBNS): Zoya Akhtar has become an ardent football lover, a sport which she wouldn't necessarily follow before.

Zoya is currently working on the post production of Dil Dhadakne Do and yet removing time to keep a tab on the current Spanish Premier League. The director has been recording the matches as she can watch it during her free time.

Zoya never followed the game. She was introduced to it by Ritesh and Farhan during the shoot of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Since then Zoya has not missed a match.

She has been closely following the game. To add to this her gaming experience had in fact been a very good one as she had experienced two football world cups in the regions that are football crazy.

She had last seen two world cup seasons on the sets of her film, earlier on Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and then again with the Dil Dhadakne Do team.

Earlier in Spain while ZNMD was being shot, the Spain won the World Cup, and then again with the DDD team they were in the middle of the World Cup.

The entire team was in Antalya when they had caught the game this year.

Zoya was working with the same Spanish team, with whom she was working with during the shoot of ZNMD.

Just like the last time the team was betting on their favourite teams with the same adrenaline and cheering for the teams.
