Mumbai/IBNS: The Bank of Baroda has withdrawn its notice which was earlier issued to actor Sunny Deol for auctioning his Bungalow in Mumbai's Juhu over his failure to repay a loan, media reports said.

The state-owned bank, which had earlier issued the notice after Deol had failed to repay the loan amounting to Rs. 56-crore, withdrew it citing technical reasons.

"Corrigendum to E-auction sale notice dated 19.08.2023 published in the Times of India, Mumbai Edition (Pg.3) dated 20.08.2023 with regards to sale notice respect of Mr. Ajay sing Deol Alias Mr. Sunny Deol Stands withdrawn due to technical reasons," the bank said in a fresh statement as quoted by various media.

The bank had announced September 25 as the date for the e-auctioning of the bungalow.

On the work front, Deol has delivered one of the biggest hits of the year on the big screen, courtesy 'Gadar 2', recently.

The film, which co-stars Ameesha Patel, has grossed over Rs. 300-crore at the box office already.
