Makers release trailer of Taapsee Pannu's Dobaaraa

New Delhi/IBNS: Makers of upcoming movie Dobaaraa, which features Taapsee Pannu in the lead role, on Wednesday released the trailer of the film.

The film is a remake of the Spanish drama Mirage.

The film revolves around how during a thunderstorm the protagonist changes the past that leads to new effects in the present.

The trailer depicts Tapsee and her family realising that the house next to their is where a boy was killed 26 years ago during a thunderstorm.

When a similar storm sweeps the city, Tapsee tries to converse with the young boy that was killed in the past. Next, she wakes up to realise that she is living in a different present that makes her attempt at making everything back to normal.

With ‘Dobaaraa’, Ektaa R Kapoor also launches cult movies in the market, a new wing under Balaji Motion Pictures, which tells genre-bending stories.

The film stars Rahul Bhatt, Saswata Chatterjee, Vidusshi Mehra, Sukant Goel, Nassar, Nidhi Singh and Madhurima Roy in important roles.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Shobha Kapoor & Cult Movies, the flick will release theatrically on August 19.
