
'Two beautiful souls, one beautiful bond': Hansal Mehta writes for 'son, friend, muse' Rajkummar Rao, 'darling' Patralekha
Mumbai/IBNS: Ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta on Tuesday took to Instagram to share his love for Rajkummar Rao and said the actor's marriage to Patralekhaa's was "the wedding of a lifetime," as well as the "most joyous" one.
Calling Rajkummar his 'son, friend, brother and muse', Mehta in an emotional post wrote: "They say that the birth of a child often changes one's fortunes for the better. His entry into my office one hot afternoon changed my life. My son, my friend, my brother, my muse, Rajkummar Rao. I would imagine that to be married to my darling Patralekhaa is just what blessings from the almighty would be like."
Hansal Mehta has directed Rajkummar Rao in critically-acclaimed films such as Shahid, Omerta, Aligarh and CityLights, which also starred Patralekhaa.
He shared photos from the wedding which took place in presence of the couple's close friends in Chandigarh.
"Two beautiful souls, one beautiful bond and many blessings for all the best things that life has to offer. This was truly the most joyous wedding ever, the wedding of a lifetime!" he added.
Mehta and Rajkummar's first film together was Shahid, which fetched the latter the National Award for Best Actor.
Their last work together was in the film 'Chalaang' which released on OTT platform.
