Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is proving age is just a number as the superstar is celebrating his 79th birthday Monday.

Bachchan took to social media to share a picture where the actor is looking stunning, leaving his countless fans mesmerised.

Sharing the picture he wrote on Instagram, "…. walking into the 80th .."

Wishing Bachchan, actor Ajay Devgn tweeted, "Sir, looking at you through a different lens taught me what being a true artiste is.
Happy Birthday dear Amitji."

Jacqueline Fernandez tweeted, " Happy bday Sir!!!"

Bachchan's actor son Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, "My hero, my idol, my friend, my father! Happy birthday Dad."

Emraan Hashmi tweeted, "HAPPY 79 ⁦ @SrBachchan!! And still blazing ahead with passion and ferocity .. Thank you sir for always inspiring me. Best wishes and have a good one !!!"

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli tweeted, "Happy birthday to the versatile and the evergreen @SrBachchan sir. Wishing you good health and happiness always."

Bachchan also waved to his fans who had gathered outside his residence 'Jalsa' in Mumbai Monday.

On the work front, Big B, who is hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati's latest season on television, was last seen in recently-released Hindi film 'Chehre', which also stars actor Emraan Hashmi in the lead role.
