I'm stunned: Priyanka Chopra Jonas mourns Sushant Singh Rajput's death

Los Angeles/Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has said she was "stunned" to hear the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who committed suicide on Sunday, remembering her earlier conversation with the young actor on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Besides mourning the death, Priyanka in a tweet addressed the "pain" of Sushant who was reportedly suffering from mental depression for the last several months.

"I'm stunned. U must have been in so much pain. I hope u are at peace wherever u are my friend. Gone too soon.I’ll never forget our conversations about astrophysics at sunrise.Words cease to make sense. RIP Sushant. My condolences to the family & everyone grieving this huge loss," she tweeted.

Bollywood actor with the boy-next-door look Sushant, who had portrayed India's former cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni onscreen, was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on Sunday.

He was found hanging in his home.

The 'Shuddh Desi Romance' actor was 34.
