Mumbai/IBNS: Deepika Padukone's latest throwback image proves to be a major treat to netizens which features superstar Aamir Khan in the same.

The image dates back to Jan 1, 2000, in which Deepika's entire family poses with the Lagaan actor.

Recalling the time, Deepika shared that she was "hungry as always" and Aamir Khan who was having lunch with curd rice "didn't offer" her.

She also remembered how "awkward" she was at that time.

The photograph also features Deepika's father Prakash Padukone, mother Ujjala and sister Anisha.

Posting the image, Deepika shared: "Major throwback to January 1, 2000. I was 13 and awkward. I still am. He (Aamir Khan) was having lunch. Curd Rice to be precise. I was hungry, like I always am. But he didn't offer and I didn't ask."

Last year, Deepika received a big shout out from Aamir for her film 'Chhapaak.'

Deepika, who made her debut with 'Om Shanti Om' opposite Shah Rukh Khan, will be next seen in Kabir Khan's '83' alongside Ranveer Singh.

Aamir Khan, on the other hand, will be seen 'Lal Singh Chaddha', in which he co-stars with Kareena Kapoor.
