Kriti Sanon's Luka Chuppi maintains dominance at BO

Mumbai, Mar 9 (IBNS): Actress Kriti Sanon's Luka Chuppi has maintained its position in the Indian Box Office and earned Rs. 56 crore till Friday.

The movie released on Mar 1 amid positive response from movie lovers.

Sharing the box office collection made by the movie, film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " #LukaChuppi maintains well... Slightly affected by #CaptainMarvel wave at metros/plexes... Expected to gather speed on [second] Sat and Sun... [Week 2] Fri 3.04 cr. Total: ₹ 56.74 cr. India biz."

   The movie had created a buzz since its trailer was released recently.

Luka Chuppi has been directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan.

The movie saw Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan pairing up for the first time.

Aaryan caught the limelight with his impressive screen presence in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Sanon, who began her career with Heropanti in 2014, impressed fans with her cheerful acting as Bitti Mishra in Bareilly Ki Barfi, starring opposite actor Rajkummar Rao.

The 28-year old actress also sizzled audience with her special appearance in a song in 2018 film Stree.
