Jacqueline Fernandez modulates voice for double role in Roy

India Blooms News Service | | 28 Jan 2015, 11:18 pm
Mumbai, Jan 28 (IBNS): Bollywood beauty Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in a double role in her upcoming movie 'Roy' and the actress reveals that she had to work on her voice modulation for each role.

Being a perfectionist, Director Vikramjit Singh decided to use sync sound in order to give the film its vintage feel.

She said, "Roy is a film with a lot of dialogues and since Vikramjit had decided on making it with sync sound, it became more difficult for me. My Hindi diction was the least of my problems; the biggest challenge was to get right separate ways of speaking for my characters — Ayesha (filmmaker) and Tia (art enthusiast). The two have starkly different ways of speaking because they aren't twins".

‘Roy’ is the story of a thief played by Ranbir Kapoor alongside actors Arjun Rampal who portrays a confident yet brazen director and Jacqueline Fernandez in a double role as Ayesha and Tia.

Produced by Divya Khosla Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, ‘Roy’ has been directed by Vikramjit Singh. The film is set to release on Feb 13.
