Mumbai, Dec 10 (IBNS): Actress Anushka Sharma has said the rumours about her collaboration with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a film are false.

The actress' spokesperson on Monday issued a statement to say, "Anushka Sharma would love to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali but as of now, there is no truth to the speculations claiming Anushka has been signed for his next. We request you to kindly refrain from reporting on the same."

Several media reports on Sunday claimed that Anushka might be reuniting with her Sultan co-star and superstar Salman Khan for a Bhansali directorial film.

The Pari actress is yet to work with Bhansali, who is known for his grand period dramas.

Anushka, who was last seen in commercially successful Hindi film Sui Dhaaga, is waiting for the release of Aanand L Rai's Zero.

Starring opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the 30-year old Bollywood star plays a role of a wheel-chair bound scientist in Zero, which also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
