Badhaai Ho continues to impress in international market

Mumbai, Nov 5 (IBNS): Apart from India, Ayushmann Khuranna's Badhaai Ho has been performing strongly in the international market, film critic Taran Adarsh said.

The movie has earned Rs. 39 crores in the international Box Office over the past three weeks.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#BadhaaiHo is a MASSIVE HIT Overseas... Has fared exceptionally well in international markets... Total after Weekend 3 [till 4 Nov 2018]: $ 5.35 million [₹ 39.09 cr]... Key markets:
USA-Canada: $ 2.516 mn UAE-GCC: $ 1.262 mn UK: $ 368k Aus: $ 444k NZ: $ 114k Pakistan: $ 289k."

Badhaai Ho released during Dusshera and Durga Puja festival in India.

In India, the movie has entered the Rs. 100 crore club.

Not just Ayushmann, Badhaai Ho has a strong casting which include Dangal star Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sheeba Chaddha and Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles.

Being a comedy-drama, Amit Ravindernath Sharma directorial Badhaai Ho revolves around an elderly lady's unexpected pregnancy which embarrasses her son (played by Ayushmann), particularly in front of her fiance and would be mother-in-law.

Sanya played the role of Ayushmann's onscreen fiance.
