Mumbai, Sept 11 (IBNS): The trailer of upcoming Hindi film Badhaai Ho reflects a humorous storyline where actor Ayushmann Khurrana seems to be in an uncomfortable position in life, solely because of his mother's untimely pregnancy.

The trailer was released by the filmmakers on Tuesday.

The trailer begins with Ayushmann's father (played by Gajraj Rao) informing his family about the pregnancy of his wife (enacted by Neena Gupta).

Ayushmann, meanwhile, gets trapped in a situation which creates a lot of embarrassment, particularly in front of his fiancee (actress Sanya Malhotra) and her family.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the trailer saying, "This is hilarious... बधाई हो, Team #BadhaaiHo... You got the trailer right... Stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Surekha Sikri and Gajraj Rao... Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma... #BadhaaiHoTrailer:"

Veteran actress Surekha Sikri will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film.

Sanya gained fame after featuring in 2016 Aamir Khan starrer film Dangal.

Amit Ravindernath Sharma directorial film is slated to release on Oct 19.
