Emirates announces to launch 13th weekly flight to Kolkata

Dubai-based international airline Emirates on Monday (January 19, 2015) announced that it will add a 13th weekly flight between Kolkata and Dubai from March 29. The flight operator also said it will introduce a First Class section for premium customers in Kolkata. The announcement was made by Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Vice President – India & Nepal, Emirates Airline.

A one -day photography exhibition "6262" Impressions from Lithuania by Kountey Sinha was inaugurated by the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania, Laimonas Talat Kelpsa and Madhu Neotia at Jhal Farezi restaurant in Kolkata on Sunday (Jan 18, 2015). A Honda City car suddenly caught fire on Tuesday (Jan 13, 2015) night near gate No.4 of Jadavpur University campus. Both the youths on the car, one of whom was driving, fled the scene leaving the burning car. Two fire fighting engines came in quick response and doused the flame. No one was hurt.
