From theatre and movie stalwarts like Naseeruddin Shah to thespian MK Raina, actors Raghubir Yadav, Ratna Pathak Shah and filmmaker Sudhir Mishra along with writer-editor Anjum Katyal, who is on research and documentation, paid tribute to Tanvir on the inaugural day. The festival is an ode to one of the most influential playwrights and poets of post-independent India on his 100th birth anniversary.
