Christmas: Kolkata cake shop bakes for over 200 years

Ajmeri's Bakery in Bowbazar, Kolkata is catering to the people for over 200 years in the city with a massive British colonial legacy. Besides their famous fruit cakes, they are churning out items with Nolan Gur and Chhena (Indian Cottage Cheese). The shop is run by the eighth generation of the family and all cakes are baked in wooden-fired ovens in keeping with European Christmas traditions, adding to the flavour of the delectable goodies.
