Lagos,Nov 23 (IBNS) Indian Pop icon Daler Mehndi recently kicked off his tour of Africa with a concert at Lagos, Nigeria.The artiste performed to a packed house, delivering each song with his signature enthusiasm and energy. Fans from all over Nigeria attended the concert and Daler Mehndi spent some time interacting with them after the concert. Fans were seen clicking photos with them and the humble musician enjoyed the interactions.

The Indian King of Pop, Daler Mehndi, recently performed at a concert in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. Belting out power packed original compositions, the musician had the audience on its toes from beginning to end. Representatives of the media, who were present at the event, felicitated Daler Mehndi with a garland of flowers. Like at every Daler Mehndi concert, the energy levels were at an all time high.

Actress and producer Tanishaa Mukerji was recently seen at a charity dinner held at Juhu Club Millennium in Mumbai. The Charity Gala Dinner was held for CHIP (NGO)’s 10th Anniversary. Tanishaa auctioned off one of her own designer dresses which she had worn during her first outing as a co-producer in the 'Son of Sardaar' days. Tanishaa seems to have lost a lot of weight and was glowing and looking very young in a blue and pink outfit. Others at the event included Harshita Bhatt and Kanica La among others.

KIFF: Starry filmfest pays tribute to Suchitra Sen

A day after its inauguration in the presence of Bollywood stars, Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) witnessed a day of events and screening of films from across the word on Wednesday (Nov 11, 2014). The first day's highlights included opening of an exhibition on late screen goddess Suchitra Sen. Daughter Moon Moon Sen, actor and festival committee chairman Ranjit Mullick, painter Shuvaprasanna, who also is the Chairman of Exhibition Committee, were present at the opening of the show on Suchitra where several familiar and rare images of the enigmatic screen diva's life are displayed. A booklet on Sen was also released. Also spotted during the day was actress Tanuja- who had starred in many Bengali films- with her daughter Tanisha. Actor-filmmaker Amol Palekar, who is a member of the jury this year, was seen catching up on films. Long queues of cine lovers were also witnessed at the main Nandan complex which sported a carnival like look.
