US: Four members of Hyderabad family die in road accident

Four members of a family, who originated from the Indian city of Hyderabad, died in a road accident in the US.

The family was visiting the US for vacation.

The deceased Indian couple were identified as Tejaswini and Sree Venkat.

The road mishap occurred in Dallas.

The family was returning from a visit to their relatives in Atlanta when their car was involved in an accident, reported India Today.

The bodies will be brought back to India for the last rites.

Earlier in May, two Indian students from Cleveland State University died in a road accident in New York.

The students were identified as Manav Patel and 23-year-old Saurav Prabhakar.

The Indian Consulate in New York posted on X: "Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate road accident in which two Indian students from Cleaveland State University, Manav Patel and Saurav Prabhakar lost their lives."

"Our thoughts and prayers are with their families during this difficult time. The Consulate is in touch with the families and has assured them of all possible assistance," the consulate said.
