Twitter calls Donald Trump's 'they are trying to steal the election' tweet 'misleading'

Washington/IBNS: Micro-blogging site Twitter has called US President Donald Trump's tweet claiming the Democrats were stealing the country's election "misleading", at a time the Republicans are trailing behind their challenger Joe Biden.

In the middle of the counting of votes, Trump tweeted, "We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!"

Trump has said he would move the Supreme Court asking the voting in the election to stop.

"We are going to the Supreme Court to stop voting so that they (Democrats) can't fudge it," the US President said.

He has also called the election a "fraud" on the people of the country.

Trump on Wednesday claimed his victory even before the emergence of a clear picture of who could enter the White House winning the high-pitched Presidential Election.

Addressing a gathering in the White House, Trump said, "We are going to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election."

However as per the last update by CNN, Democratic nominee Joe Biden (224 electoral colleges) is ahead of Trump (213 electoral colleges).
