Ottawa/UNI: A train has derailed in the city of Port Colborne, located in the south of Canada’s Ontario province, the city authorities inform.

"Main St will be closed this evening between King St and Canal Bank Rd/Weir Rd while crews clean up a train derailment that occurred earlier today in Port Colborne," the City of Port Colborne said on Twitter on Saturday.

According to the city authorities, the closure will last about four hours.

The cause of the derailment remains unknown.

The CTV broadcaster said on Saturday citing Niagara Regional Police that no injuries were reported following the derailment, which occurred at around 10:30 a.m. (14:30 GMT) and involved several train cars carrying grain.
