Tim Hortons employees beaten up by woman; incident caught on camera

Toronto, July 19 (IBNS): Two employees, including a pregnant woman, of multinational fast food restaurant, Tim Hortons, were assaulted by a woman, media reports said.

The incident has been caught on camera.

Video of the incident in Brampton, Ontario shows a woman is pulling hairs of one employee while the other employee was trying to pull her away.

Peel Region Police Constable Danny Marttini has been quoted by CTV News, "It is pretty shocking for that individual to be attacked while they’re just doing their day-to-day duties."

The woman had entered the McVean Restaurant to use its washroom on Sunday morning even though the restaurant had closed for the night.

Police said Leliqua Clarke, 21, has been charged with two counts of assault and one count of breaking and entering.

Reacting to the incident, a Tim Hortons spokesperson told CTV News, "Nobody comes to work expecting to be treated this way."

He also called the incident as "completely unacceptable by any standards".
