Reiterating the core outcome of the negotiations, Trump said the most important result of the deal was that “Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.”

He suggested that Washington was now engaging with a new political leadership in Tehran and claimed that multiple phases of regional leadership transitions had preceded the agreement, without offering further details.

'A smart new phase' in Middle East relations

Trump described the outcome as part of a broader diplomatic shift in the Middle East, saying that the US had ultimately reached an agreement after what he called a series of leadership changes in the region.

He also confirmed that US Vice President JD Vance would attend a signing ceremony for the deal on Friday, though the exact location has not yet been announced.
