Colombo, Apr 23 (IBNS): The death toll in the Sri Lanka blasts has risen 310 as the country is observing the national day of mourning, media reports said.

On Easter Sunday, Sri Lanka’s Capital Colombo was hit by a series of eight coordinated bombings in churches and hotels.

Sri Lankan government has revealed the name of a group whom they are suspecting to be behind the eight serial blasts which rocked the nation on Sunday.

Sri Lankan Health Minister and the government spokesman Rajitha Senaratne on Monday addressed a press conference and said that a local outfit, which was identified as Muslim radical group National Tawheed Jamath, is suspected to be behind the attacks.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.

He said all suicide bombers, who were involved in the attacks, were suspected to be Sri Lankan nationals.

Police have arrested 40 people so far in connection with the blasts.
