Toronto, Oct 27 (IBNS): Six allegedly kidnapped children from Calgary have been found in Ontario's Bowmanville, police confirmed.

Durham regional police mentioned an officer found the children, aged between 18 months and 11 years, in Bowmanville, on Wednesday afternoon.

The officer stopped a green SUV with an Alberta licence plates and found that it was associated with the alleged parental abduction in Calgary.

The 49-year-old man, who was driving the car, has been arrested under a Canada-wide warrant.

The police have not released the name of the father to protect the identities of the children.

The authorities have planned to return the man back to Calgary.
