Saudi Arabia: 20 Umrah pilgrims killed in bus mishap

At least 20 Umrah pilgrims died and 29 others were hurt in a bus mishap in Saudi Arabia on Monday, media reports said.

The mishap occurred when they were travelling to perform Umrah in Makkah.

Emergency services, including a Red Crescent team, were quickly dispatched to the accident site and injured travellers were transported to nearby hospitals, reports Khaleej Times.

The victims of the accident had different 'nationalities'.

However, the details of the people are still not known.
