Islamabad: Pakistani actress and morning show host Nida Yasir has revealed that she was robbed while on vacation in Turkey with her family. Nida shared details of the robbery on her morning show, explaining that her valuables were stolen in Istanbul.

The actress said she had been warned about robberies in the city and as such, had been careful not to take valuables with her out on the streets.

Speaking about the jewelry she had bought for herself from her first paycheck, which included diamond rings and a necklace, Nida told her viewers that due to the fear of theft, she had left the jewelry in her bag in her hotel cupboard.

When she checked the bag three days later, the jewelry was missing, Tribune reported.

She revealed that the unfortunate incident occurred a day before she was due back in Pakistan and that she spent the entire night in an Istanbul police station waiting for her turn to file an FIR.
