Ottawa: Firefighters called to tackle 3-alarm fire in Napean

Ottawa, Jan 6 (IBNS): Firefighters have been called in Ottawa to tackle 3-alarm fire in Napean part of Ontario district, media reports said.

The fire broke out in an unit at 39 Woodvale Green near Craig Henry Drive on Friday evening.

The fire fighters were called to evacuate the building. When the firefighters had arrived, the fire had reached the second floor of the unit.

However, no injury has been reported.

By 8 p.m., the fire was reported to be under control.

The incident occurred at a time Ottawa's temperature was around -22 degree with a feel like -32 degree.
