Oracle building hit in Dubai: Missile debris sparks panic — What really happened?

| @indiablooms | Apr 04, 2026, at 06:14 pm

Authorities in Dubai confirmed that an aerial interception from an Iranian projectile fell on the Oracle building in the Dubai Marina area on Saturday.

However, no casualty or injury was reported from the incident.

Dubai Media Office posted on X: "Authorities confirm that they responded to a minor incident caused by debris from an aerial interception that fell on the facade of the Oracle building in Dubai Internet City."

In an earlier X post, the office said: "Authorities confirm that they responded to an incident caused by debris from an aerial interception that fell onto the façade of a building in the Dubai Marina area. No fire or injuries were reported."

Earlier this week, media reports claimed that Iran had attacked the Oracle office in Dubai, which officials rejected as 'fake news'.

The Dubai Marina area is a popular tourist and residential hub in the city. Dubai has been targeted by Iran ever since the US and Israel hit Tehran on February 28, spiking tension in the region. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States could reopen the Strait of Hormuz “with a little more time,” while also hinting that Iran’s power infrastructure could be targeted next.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “With a little more time, we can easily OPEN THE HORMUZ STRAIT, TAKE THE OIL, & MAKE A FORTUNE. IT WOULD BE A ‘GUSHER’ FOR THE WORLD.” However, he did not specify a timeline or outline how the US would take control of the crucial waterway. Power plants ‘next’ In a separate post, Trump suggested that further military action could be directed at Iran’s infrastructure.

“Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran. Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants! New Regime leadership knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST!” he said.
