Vancouver (B.C.), Jul 26 (IBNS): Nearly 140 pieces of luggage were reported stolen at Vancouver International Airport between June 2018 and July 2019, media reports said.

Gabor Lukacs, an air passenger rights advocate asked the police to take this issue more seriously, to prevent the airport's reputation being at stake.

Lukacs said airports' design to allow family and friends to meet their loved ones and grab their suitcases together may no longer be feasible.
