Mike Pompeo meets Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Tel Aviv, Apr 29 (IBNS):  US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is currently visiting Israel and met country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to officials, the two leaders discussed a range of 'regional challenges' during their meeting.

"Secretary Pompeo met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin @Netanyahu in Tel Aviv today, followed by an expanded meeting to discuss a range of regional challenges and our shared interests," US State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert tweeted.

Former CIA director Mike Pompeo was recently appointed as the country's Secretary of State.

Mike Pompeo was sworn in as the 70th U.S. Secretary of State on Apr 26.
