Miami: At least 8 injured following shooting at MLK Day event

Miami, Jan 17 (IBNS): At least eight people, including five juveniles, were injured following a shooting that took place at a Martin Luther King Day event in Miami, reports said.

One among the eight is said to be in a critical condition, while five are stable.

Paramedics have treated and released two others, police said.

Police has already detained two people, who are undergoing investigation.

"Investigators have detained two subjects for questioning to determine their involvement, if any," CNN quoted an official as saying.

"Two firearms were also recovered. It is unknown if additional subjects are at large as this investigation continues to be very active," the official added.
