Massive fire breaks out at London high rise

London, June 14 (IBNS): A massive fire broke out at a tower block in London on Wednesday, officials said.

As per London Fire Brigade‏, forty fire engines and over 200 firefighters are fighting to bring the fire under control.

"The Brigade has received multiple calls. The fire is from the second floor to the top floor of the 27 floor building," the London Fire Brigade posted on Facebook.

Fire crews from North Kensington, Kensington, Hammersmith and Paddington and from surrounding fire stations are in attendance.{image2}

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage, the  London Fire Brigade‏ said.

Several people have been injured.

Evacuation processes going on.

"Residents continue to be evacuated from the tower block fire in #NorthKensington. A number of people being treated for a range of injuries," the Metropolitan Police tweeted.
