Mass shooting in New York's Rochester kills 1, injures 6

New York/IBNS: One person was killed and six others were injured in a mass shooting at a park in New York's Rochester on Sunday evening, media reports said.

The shooting took place at Maplewood Park.

Police said, as Rochester First reported, the deceased was 20-year-old while another is in critical condition.

Five others have been hospitalised with "relatively minor injuries".

The identity of the deceased is yet to be released by police.

Videos on social media show multiple shots being fired at the park leaving the people running for safety.
